TRICHOMYCOSIS IN INFANCY: DIAGNOSTICS, TREATMENT AND PROPHYLAXIS

Abstract:

In 2012 in the hospital of infectious department of Children’s Dermatovenerology Dispensary №3 of Baku, there were registered 126 children between 3 – 36 years, suffering from trichomycosis, and the mixed forms of trichomycosis and smooth skin. Without holding the appropriate cultural research it is only presumably possible to attribute fungus, causing trichomycosis to the race of Trichophyton or Microsporum. Bacteriological diagnostics, cultural researches are the important aid for practicing doctors to evade therapeutic mistakes and to increase the effectiveness of antifungal therapy.
