The purpose of the work was to study morphological and ultra-sonic changes in the thrombosed vein after the influence of high-frequency endovascular electric welding; and to determine the effectiveness of the method for the treatment of acute ascending thrombophlebitis. The analysis of ultra-sonic testings showed that, despite the complete destruction of the entire vein wall, during the first days after the influence of endovascular electric welding in 5.76% of the welded large subcutaneous vein, areas of the wall blood flow were detected. In the remote monitoring period from 3 to 6 months, these changes in 3.84% of cases can lead to a partial hemodynamically insignificant recanalization. The aforementioned areas of blood flow in 1.92% of cases can lead to a complete hemodynamically significant recanalization of the welded large subcutaneous vein in the observation period from 9 to 12 months. Endovascular high-frequency electrical welding of the thrombosed large subcutaneous vein with acute ascending thrombophlebitis causes complete destruction of the thrombotic masses and all layers of the vein wall; and in 94.24% of cases it allows achieving a complete obliteration of the welded vein.
