IN VIVO EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF MANUKA ESSENTIAL OIL ANTIBACTERIAL PROPERTIES

Abstract:
It was found using experiments in vivo on the model of burn Pseudomonas infection in mice that the Manuka essential oil showed a marked antibacterial effect, accelerated reparative processes in the wound and reduced the treatment time of experimental wound infection by 4-6 days or 31-40%.
