THE RESEARCH OF THE ACTIVITY OF DECAMOTHOXIN® AND ITS MEDICINAL FORMS ON ADHESSION OF BACTERIA

Abstract:
Introduction. Adhesion of bacterial pathogens is known to be the earliest stages of infectious process in tissues. Antiseptics can block adhesion of microorganisms and seriously influence on the infectious process in human organism. That is why the investigation of new antimicrobials, which influence on adhesion of pathogens of infectious diseases, is carried out and remains to be very actual and important. The aim. To research the influence of decamethoxin®, auridexan, horosten®, decasan® on adhesive ability of Staphylococcus and Escherichia. Materials and methods. The research of adhesive qualities of microorganisms were studied by means of well known universal model, using formalized human erythrocytes (blood type O (I) Rh (+)). Experimentally we studied the action of minimal bacterial inhibitory and cidal concentrations of decamethoxin®, auridexan, horosten®, decasan®. Adhesion indicator in intact cells (control) assumed as 100 %. The adhesion levels of decamethoxin®, auridexan, horosten®, decasan® were compare with control. Results and discussion. In the research there were found the new data of activity of antiseptic remedies decamethoxin®, auridexan, horosten®, decasan® on adhesive qualities of strains of Staphylococcus and Escherichia. It was found, that minimal bacterial inhibitory and cidal concentrations of decamethoxin® (0,48–1,90 мкг/мл; 1,90–15,20 мкг/мл); auridexan and horosten® (0,96–7,60 мкг/мл; 3,80–15,20 мкг/мл); decasan® (1,90–3,80 мкг/мл; 3,80–15,20 мкг/мл) influence on adhesion of S. aureus and E. coli, though these medicines can provide reliable prophylactic and therapeutic effect. Conclusion. Antiseptic remedy decamethoxin® and its medicinal forms (auridexan, horosten®, decasan®) provide effective influence on adhesive abilities of Staphylococcus and Escherichia. Decamethoxin®, auridexan, horosten®, decasan® provide strong action on bacterial adhesives in minimal inhibitory (0,48 – 3,8 mkg/ml) and bactericidal (7,6 – 15,2 mkg/ml) concentrations, proving prophylactic and therapeutic effectiveness of their use.
