THE ROLE OF COMPLIANCE IN PROMOTING OF WOMEN’S DENTAL HEALTH

Abstract:

We made clinical dental examination of the 138 women of childbearing age of Poltava (2013 year ) in comparison with the results of similar clinical observation over 180 women of the same age on 1985 year. The intensity of the inflammatory process has not changed. Index of the PMA in women who were under observation in 1985 and 2013 respectively did not differ. Chronic catarrhal and hypertrophic gingivitis was noted. Conclusions. The study confirmed the high-level stability of dental morbidity among women of Poltava with the changes to the natural, social, economic indicator of living standards, from 1985 on 2013. The structure of the index DMF change, the prevalence of inflammatory periodontal diseases, the level of oral hygiene increased.
