MODERN METHODS OF CHRONICAL DACRYOCECTITIS’ TREATMENT

Abstract:

Stable disorder of excretory lacrimal functions of eye is one of the major manifestations of chronic dacryocystitis. The most effective methods of treatment are surgical intervention. There are two major methods of its treatment, they are extranasal and endonasal dacryocystitis. Endonasal approach is characterized by minor traumatism good cosmetic results and minimal damage of physiological excretory lacrimal system. To improve functional results it is necessary. To perform nongraded removing of unfavourable rhinogenic factors. The present paper desribes the method of endonasal dacryostorhinostomy in detail.
