This review article analyzes contemporary therapeutic approaches for patients with multiple myeloma. The literature selection was conducted within the Pubmed and Google Scholar databases, encompassing publications from the period of 2020 to 2025. A fundamental principle in the management of multiple myeloma patients is the initial determination of eligibility for autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. Performing autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation increases the rate of clinico-hematological remission achievement and improves patient survival outcomes. The development and implementation of novel therapeutic approaches remains a critical focus. Furthermore, enrolling patients in clinical trials is essential, particularly for those with relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma and patients with high-risk disease features. An ongoing area of significant importance is the investigation of supportive care strategies, particularly agents for bone remodeling. This is critically important for improving patient quality of life and reducing the risk of skeletal-related complications.
