Procedure of articles consideration
  1. By submitting an article for publication, the author thereby expresses consent to the placement of its full text on the Internet on the official website of the "World of Medicine and Biology" (womab.com.ua).
  2. Articles are accepted according to the established schedule:
    • for Issue No. 1 (March) — by 15 January of the current year;
    • for Issue No. 2 (June) — by 15 April of the current year;
    • for Issue No. 3 (September) — by 15 July of the current year;
    • for Issue No. 4 (December) — by 15 October of the current year.
    Due to the large volume of submissions received, the deadline for accepting articles for the nearest issue may be brought forward.
  3. Articles received are considered by the editorial board within one month.
  4. The editorial board is entitled to send an article for additional peer review.
  5. The editorial board is entitled to carry out scientific and literary editing of submitted materials, and if necessary to abridge them in agreement with the author, or — if the article's topic is of interest to the journal — to return the article to the author for revision. If the article was revised by the author during preparation for publication, the date of receipt is considered to be the day the final version was submitted.
  6. The editorial board reserves the right to reject an article that does not meet the established requirements or the journal's scope.
  7. In the event of rejection of a submitted article, the editorial board provides the author with a substantiated decision.
  8. Authors receive notification of their submitted article within 7 days. One month after registration of the article, the editorial office notifies the authors of the peer review outcome and the planned publication schedule. The order of article publication is approved by the editorial board in accordance with the journal's publication plan. The editorial office independently informs the author of all changes in the status of their manuscript's review. If an author disagrees with the editorial policy, the article may be withdrawn from publication without the right to reprint it in this journal.
  9. The editorial board provides the author with a complimentary copy of the journal containing the published article.
  10. Authors are hereby informed that, due to the tight deadlines for preparing articles for publication, the author is required to notify the editorial office of receipt of comments within 3 days, and to submit the revised version with all necessary corrections within 7 days of receiving the comments. Failure to meet the revision deadline entitles the editorial board to refuse publication or to postpone the article's release to a later date determined by the editors.
