CORRELATION ANALYSIS OF THE MORPHOMETRIC PARAMETERS OF THE HEPATIC VEINS IN THE THIRD TRIMESTERS OF THE INTRAUTERINE DEVELOPMENT

| Annotation | A morphometric study of the hepatic veins on 26 autopsied specimens of 7-10 month old fetuses has been carried out. It has been established that the length of the main trunks of the hepatic veins, the external diameter of the right and middle veins increase in the third trimester of the intrauterine development. The morphologic basis of an adequate blood outflow from the liver is positive correlations of the morphometric parameters of the hepatic veins among themselves and the sizes of the lobes of the liver. |
