    Type of article Обзорная статья
Annotation On the basis of professional literature data, the paper provides an analysis of the role of genetic polyformism in the development of pathological conditions in infants and a substantiation of the necessity of genetic testing with the purpose of preventing future illnesses and developing ways of early diagnosing thereof. On the basis of own experimental and clinical research, an analysis was conducted of the genetic determinant of GSTT1 and GSTM1 genes in newborns with asphyxia.
