| Annotation |
Arterial hypertension (AH) - one of the most common cardiovascular disease, especially given the development of type 2 diabetes. This is accompanied by increased thickness of the walls of arteries and decrease the vascular lumen, which leads to increased peripheral vascular resistance and stiffness of blood vessels. In addition, the metabolic abnormalities that accompany this disease, not only accelerate the progression of hypertension, but also increase the resistance of blood pressure, which leads to an increased cardiovascular risk, and thus complications |
