Annotation The article analyzes the literature regarding the structural and functional state of the circulatory system in overweight and obesity. The are results of surveys of 141 adolescents aged 10 to 17 years are overweight or obese, divided into groups according to body mass index. The assessment of 24 hours-blood pressure and the results of the carotid vessels study are presented. It was determined that increasing the carotid intima-media thickness can be a predictor of unfavorable morning blood pressure dynamics.
