Annotation There has been performed the estimation of I, II, III classes of malocclusion prevalence in adults. These data has been assessed in historical perspective. Prevalence of malocclusion among adults was 82%. Over the last 113 years there has been an increase in the number of class I anomalies and the reduction of class III anomalies that may be associated with a significant reduction in masticatory loading of modern man. The smallest change undergone prevalence of class II malocclusion, which reflects a certain independence of the distal occlusion from evolutionary processes. First identified and analyzed the frequency of occurrence for class II subdivision , whose share among other malocclusion was 13%.
