In the same time in 21 and 24 month old rats absorption of water and Na+and Cl- ions was increased, which isone of the causes of constipation occurancens in eldery and senile rats. Periodic administration of multiprobiotic “Symbiter” (0.14 mg/kg ) have prevented age-related changes in the transport of water and electrolytes across the epithelium of the colon. In eldery and senile rats absorptionofwaterandNa+and Cl- ionsincreased in comparison with juvenile rats; absorption of K+didn’t changed in the process of aging; periodic administration of Symbiter prevented changes in total flow of water, Na+and Cl- ions. |
