Annotation The purpose of this work was to analyze the effect of nootropic drugs on the performance of unconditioned-reflex activity of animals in conditions of chronic hyperglycemia in the test «open field». Established that the course administration of N-phenylacetyl-L-prolyl glycine (noopept), pramiracetam, phenilpiracetam (entrop), citicoline and cerebrocurine but not piracetam and ginkgo biloba extract is able to enhance the locomotor and exploratory activity in animals with long-term alloxan–induced hyperglycemia. Ability to normalize the locomotor activity of animals in conditions of chronic hyperglycemia decreases in the series entrop > pramiracetam > citicoline > noopept ≈ cerebrocurine >> piracetam ≈ ginkgo biloba extract.
