Annotation | Nuclear DNA ploidy was determined by the usage of flow cytometry at the rats of different age groups with chronic toxic hepatitis. Revealed that the group of animals with chronic toxic hepatitis significantly bigger amount of the hepatocytes with polyploid DNA in comparison to the intact animals of similar age. In our opinion, this feature changes of the ratio of hepatocytes nuclei with different ploidy can be explained by the fact that the cells with octaploid and dyoctaploid set of nuclear DNA are a reserve pool, and after termination of the pathogenic factor action re-enter to the cell cycle and become a source of formation of diploid cells because regeneration by proliferation of this type hepatocytes is the main mechanism of mass recovery, the structure and function of the damaged liver. |
