DISTANCE LEARNING ORGANIZATION OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES STUDIES IN HIGHER EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENTS

| Annotation | The distance learning (e-learning, education with the help of the electronic transmitters of information in the Internet network) is widely widespread in the whole world, having a row of advantages: flexibility of educational schedule; considerable economy; the interactivity of studies – the possibility of intercourse by the Internet network with the teachers and classmates; enormous choice of literature and audiovisual materials. Studies foreign languages, except theory, always needed practice and was based on the necessity of socializing with native speakers, regular foreign communicative environment. Therefore before inventing Internet technologies distance learning of foreign languages faced with the row of money expense time technical problems. Nowadays the distance learning organization process demands only teacher’s active participation in creating the best individual conditions for education of every student. New technologies force a teacher to continuous self-education to be oriented in great numbers Internet resources, to probe new educational methods in order to help every student in developing his\her intellectual and creative abilities. Successfulness and quality of distance learning of foreign language depends on efficiency of process organization, used methods, variety of materials, and also, of teacher’s professional skills, his consultations and regularity of tasks implementation by a student. The purpose of our research is consideration of existent forms and methods of organization and realization of foreign languages distance learning of unlinguistic specialities students (in relation to professional linguists it is necessary to line up more intensive and more various programme). In conclusion, coming from the analysed methods, principles, forms and facilities of distance learning, we offer the concrete system of teacher’s work with distance students while studying foreign languages: three steps to organize, conduct and prove the process, according to individual student’s abilities. The certain and important role in this process belongs to that higher educational establishment, which organizes distance learning education. This establishment must provide not only teacher’s support, but supply the necessary technical equipment and control the results of teacher’s and student’s work. And however, the success of this cooperation of higher educational establishment, teacher and distance student, mainly depends on a student – his industriousness, diligence, good organizational skills, desire to attain the put aims in educational activities. In our time the Internet gives all necessary possibilities for organization of education process, and developed methods of distance lerning – for his successful embodiment. Impossibility to visit classes regularly – a not problem already, and only from student internal purposefulness depends him future – and as a student, and in subsequent professional. |
