THE USE OF THE DRUG LOROBEN IN THE TREATMENT OF INFLAMMATORY PERIODONTAL DISEASES IN CHILDREN

Annotation	The purpose of the study was to assess the efficacy of the drug Loroben in complex treatment of inflammatory periodontal diseases in children. Methods. In children of different age in the treatment and prevention of periodontal disease to date is difficult. In the process study participated schoolboy 103 patients with a diagnosis of chronic catarrhal gingivitis (HKG) and chronic periodontitis easy degree (HPLC). Of these, 67 people were sick with chronic catarrhal gingivitis and 36 people with chronic periodontitis easy degree. Patients were divided into 3 groups of observations: Group I – patients who were never prescribed therapeutic measures, was conducted professional hygiene of the oral cavity. Group II – patients who after the professional hygiene of the oral cavity was used a solution of chlorhexidine digluconate. Group III - patients who have received the professional hygiene of the oral cavity medication used, Loroben. In the treatment of chronic catarrhal gingivitis were divided into groups: 12 children, which was conducted professional hygiene of the oral cavity; 20 children, of which there was used a solution of chlorhexidine digluconate and 35 children who were applied the drug Loroben. For the treatment of chronic periodontitis mild in 12 patients was conducted professional hygiene of the oral cavity; 10 - applied solution of chlorhexidine digluconate; 14 - drug Loroben. The results of therapeutic measures in each of the 3 groups were assessed on the basis of clinical observations and objective tests [odds OHI-S, PMA,PI and SBI index]. In addition, we investigated the microflora of periodontal pockets and parameters of local immunity of patients. The laboratory results showed that in the process of conducting treatment and preventive measures during the use of the drug Loroben was significantly restored the functional activity of the local immune factors. If we take into account indicators after professional hygiene and local application of a solution of digluconate of chlorhexidine, after treatment with Loroben values increased markedly. Conclusions. Using the solution Loroben conducted treatment and preventive measures were effective. A solution of Loroben improves trophic periodontal tissues, promotes the elimination of bleeding gums and inflammation, and thus promotes positive treatment outcome.
