    EFFECT OF STATINS ON THE POST ERADICATION KINETICS OF TH2-SPECIFIC CYTOKINES AND IL-8 IN CERVICAL SWABS

    Annotation The article presents the results of a study of the kinetics of post eradication changes T-x2-specific cytokines (IL-6, IL-10) and chemokines - IL-8 in women with urogenital infections caused by C.trachomatis, M.genitalium, U.urealyticum, in depending on the clinical type of infection and the impact on it of complex treatment with lovastatin. Kinetics post eradication reduce Th2-specific cytokine, IL-8 and depends on the type cytokine, clinical type of infection and the period of observation. Lovastatin significantly accelerated reduction kinetics of Th2-specific cytokines and IL-8 in cervical swabs in women that can be recommended for the prevention of chronic inflammation and the development of irreversible complications in the reproductive tract of women infected C.trachomatis, M.genitalium, U.urealyticum.
