May 7, 2014 in the conference hall Nikolaev Regional Health Center held a seminar in the framework of the project "School practitioner", initiated by the Ministry of Health of the Public Council of Ukraine, All-Ukrainian medical society, non-governmental organization "The heart of the nation" and regional health centers. The school is attended by regional freelance endocrinologist Natalia Tkachenko.

The theme of the seminar was "The current strategy of treatment of type II diabetes." It was attended by family physicians and general practitioners district and municipal healthcare field, as well as specialists Nikolaev Regional Health Center.

Head Nikolaev Regional Health Center Oksana Balanska provided methodological brochures MOH of Ukraine "tactics of the general practitioner - family doctor in diseases of the digestive system," Sanbyuleten "The mechanism of choice of doctor patient" for subsequent placement in hospitals and notepads to mark with the symbols of the Ministry of Health and Mozi, who received the most active participants of the event.

In the structure of morbidity , both in Ukraine and in the Mykolaiv region , endocrine pathology is one of the leading places. According to the regional freelance endocrinologist Natalia Tkachenko of endocrine diseases in the field affects about 79,000 people (including diabetes - 32,000 ) . Since primary care is the closest to patients, correct and timely diagnosis and referral of patients to the second or third stage of care is important. Therefore, doctors reminded clinic diagnosis of endocrinological diseases and familiarized with modern methods of treatment.
