  • Visual aids designed to provide premedical care

    Specialists of Ukrainian scientific-practical center for emergency medical care and disaster medicine the Ministry of Health developed training manuals and educational film containing manipulation algorithms in health care in the prehospital.

    In addition, the Ministry of Health experts developed a draft order "On approval of the procedure for granting aid premedical care persons in case of emergency" and will soon be posted on the official website of the Ministry for public comment.

    This order is planned to approve orders premedical care providing aid to victims of sudden cardiac arrest, heart attack, suspected spinal injury on head injury on abdominal injury, trauma to the chest, on the fractured limb bones, etc..

    The document also regulates the procedure for cardiopulmonary resuscitation using an automated external defibrillator, the procedure for granting premedical care when there are multiple victims, procedure for the provision of psychological support to victims of emergencies and providepremedical care to victims of road traffic accidents.
